Welcome!

Hi, everyone! Thanks for taking a hot second to read about what I've been up to recently. On this blog, I'll be posting information about upcoming gigs,  album release information,  new tunes I’ve been working on, and posting pictures of new coffee mugs I've purchased (one can never have enough coffee mugs).  

As you all may know, for the last couple of years, I’ve been working on recording my very first SOLO album on the hammered dulcimer! It’s going to be a collection of mostly traditional Irish tunes. I was hoping for it to be released this year. However, due to Covid-19, it looks like this record will be released sometime in 2021. 

This album has been such a learning process for me. Even though I’ve been recording with my band Seasons for over 10 years, I’ve learned so much more about recording and making an album.  I’ve cried, scrapped tune sets, and have rerecorded tunes. However, I’ve also had so many wonderful moments with this record. I’ve had the chance to collaborate with some of the BEST Irish musicians out there. I’ve had the chance to level up as a musician, and I’ve learned what it takes to be in charge of a massive project. 

So many people have been incredibly supportive of this album, and I cannot thank you all enough. I can’t wait for you to hear the finished project when it is released into the world (hopefully 2021!!). I’ll be posting updates here so make sure you check back to see how it’s coming along!
