Album update and other fun things
Hello everyone! I hope you all are staying safe and healthy during these challenging times. The holidays are just around the corner, and it’s hard seeing a lot of gatherings and festive events getting canceled. Although I haven’t had a lot of performances lately due to COVID, I’ve been keeping myself busy with different musical projects! I just wanted to post an update on some exciting news and updates:
My band Seasons’ Christmas album “Joy on High” is 8 years old this month! This record contains some holiday classics such as “Nutcracker Suite” “Charlie Brown Christmas” and “Walking In The Air.” This album made me realize that I never want to record a piece composed by Tchaikovsky again. But it was worth it for the record! If you’re interested in purchasing a copy, you can find it HERE on Seasons’ Bandcamp.
Album: Although I’m still unable to record in the studio due to COVID, I have been rehearsing all the tune sets so they will be ready to go when the studio reopens! I am also working on an exclusive version of the album, which includes the talents of various visual artists. I don’t want to say too much, because I want it to be a surprise. But I will say that it’s going to be AMAZING, and I can’t wait to share more information with you all!
Besides the album, I’m also still keeping up with the tenor banjo, working on collaborating with fellow musicians, and planning a couple of virtual events with my band, Seasons!
Besides my various musical projects, here are the other things I have been doing to keep myself entertained:
READING: Midnight Sun by Stephanie Meyer (the author of the Twilight series if you didn't know)
WATCHING: The Mandalorian (SO FREAKING GOOD!)
LISTENING: Autumn by George Winston (Perfect album for the fall season.)
Have a wonderful holiday season! Talk soon!
Cheers,
Grace
