The summer fun has begun

Hi, everyone!

It has been a long time since my last post. So much has happened since my last update. As Dickens would put it: "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." Although there were a lot of ups and downs, I'm happy to say that I'm about to head into some very exciting times.

Here are a few updates on what I'll be working on this summer:

PERFORMANCES: It’s so nice to be able to say that I have some shows this summer! I have a few gigs lined up with my band, Seasons. I will be updating the “Events” section of my website, so you'll know where you can catch us!

ALBUM: EXCITED to announce that the studio reopened! I started rehearsals again, and it looks like the album will be done in August. Creating this album has been a roller coaster, but I’m so glad that I’ve stuck with it. It feels more real each day, and I can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on.

365 DAYS OF TUNES CHALLENGE: I have a bit of catching up to do, but I’m still working my way through the 365 Days of Tunes Challenge! Earlier this year, I had the honor of collaborating with the amazing Irish musician, Tara Howley. I legit freaked out when she reached out to me asking if I’d like to collaborate with her. Tara is also doing the 365 Days of Tunes Challenge. You can find the video HERE It was such an honor getting to collaborate with this brilliant woman, and I look forward to the day we can play tunes in person.

If you’d like to watch any of the videos I’ve posted for this challenge, you can find them on my youtube channel HERE.

That’s all for now! Stay tuned for more updates. Be sure to sign up for my newsletter so you don’t miss an update or tune!

Cheers,

Grace

Besides my various musical projects, here are the other things I have been doing to keep myself entertained:

READINGMen Explain Things to Me by Rebecca SolnitAn incredibly thought-provoking read.

WATCHING: Lupin. This mystery series on Netflix is FREAKING brilliant. It’s legit up there with Sherlock Holmes

LISTENING: I have been listening to the band traditional Scottish Gaelic band, Farsan. Be sure to check out their music!

DRINKING: Basically anything that is refreshing to drink on a hot, summer day!
